Seminar Library
The department has a nice and well-organized seminar library. Seminar library has a rich collection of text books, research materials, journals, periodicals and other resources based on four year B.A. (Hons.), one year M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. syllabus. The Seminar also has a repository where previous Master Thesis Reports and Monograph are preserved chronologically. Reference materials are managed by the library automation system. A seminar librarian is there to assist students always to get their necessary materials and services. Students have free and direct access to the library. It remains open from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM on working days.
Language/ Computer Laboratory
The department has a modern and well-equipped computer laboratory named “Seikh Rassel digital lab”. There are 15 computers for users. The aim of this the computer lab is to provide information technology and language technology based support to the students this department. A range of software, especially praat, elan are commonly used for managing corpus data and relevant language documentation needs.
